Zoloft Nation

Any day is a good day when you can get in and out of Costco in under an hour.

One child home from school because of the Jewish New Year. On any given day, there is a child home from school, so it has made getting a real job difficult. That and because I'm so darn lazy.

Up at 5:30 for A's (16) 6 a.m. swim practice. He's not happy and he hadn't brushed his teeth again. I could tell. This year when he threatens to quit the team, I will certainly let him.

I should have spent the morning working on my other blog, but I used it up putting together mixed tapes....um.....cds for a friend's dinner party. Truly the only thing I'm good at. That and spotting celebrities. Very lucrative talents.

The 9:45 appt. with the latest psych. She recommends Zoloft for R (14). If his impulsivity becomes worse, we will know that he is bi-polar. If his erratic behavior diminishes, his is an adhd implusiveness.

Disclaimer: I do not normally adhere to any of this. I think adhd is overdiagnosed and anti-depressants overprescribed. However, what choice is there? I have another psychiatrist to visit.

Haircut for R. The barber asked me if anyone ever told me I looked like Sarah Palin. He is the 7th. I think I will add a counter to this blog.

Off to discuss M.'s hospitalization. PTSD, mood disorder, depression, Abilify. Prozac. I can talk the talk. But where is my anti-depressant?

Today I have accomplished a great deal and it's only 2:35 p.m. $298.37 worth of groceries into my 2003 mini with a broken back latch.
