The Planet of Prozac

The family meeting on Monday revolved around meds. and the shortcomings of the family. We are not meeting M.'s needs. Well, now, this is a new turn in psychiatry.

Short post today. Back to for another family meeting about my bad mothering. And my son A (16)'s 9k a year prep school is looking for him. Apparently he is playing hooky.

Okay. One of your two readers for the other blog is writing a book with a child psychologist on the subject of boys getting overdiagnosed and overmedicated for being...uh..boys. Hyperactivity? Check. Impulsiveness? Check. Can't follow rules? Check. Spotty personal grooming? Check.

Comes with the penis. Not your mothering.

Run away from anyone who says the word bi-polar to you. I'm begging.

Uh. Oops. Disregard above comment. I didn't read all the way to the beginning of the blog. Bad, insensitive reader.

Anyway. I'm sorry you're going through all this. It must be very difficult. I admire your courage and your sense of humor in the face of all this.

In future, I'll read more carefully before running my keyboard. And I love All About Eve. Margot is the most compelling character in it.
